Free Events for Middle Schoolers

 
Afterschool movies for middle schoolers at the East Lyme Public Library  take place on Thursdays at 3:15pm. Free popcorn. On Thursday, October 5th we will be showing Monster House on the big screen. This movie is rated PG.



On Friday, October 6th from 2:30-3:30pm there will be a free cartooning workshop at the East Lyme Public Library. Author and cartoonist Jason Deeble will lead this workshop for middle schoolers. Free gifts to those who attend! This program is funded by CT Humanities, The Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut, The Community Foundation of Middlesex County, and The East Lyme Public Library. The cartoon workshop takes place on Friday, October 6th which is a day that school does not meet, but the East Lyme Public Library is open. This program is in celebration of Teen Read Week.
On Friday, October 20th the East Lyme Public Library Style Council is hosting an afterschool mini pumpkin painting party just for middle schoolers. The program is free! Please stop by or call the East Lyme Public Library (860-739-6926 ex. 2) to register for this program.
