Two Weeks of Teen Read Week!

Good news for teens & tweens! We are extending Teen Read Week. Now teens and tweens have until October 31st to stop by the Library and enter our prize drawing for a Book Barn gift certificate. All you have to do is write a few sentences about a book you recently read. Entry forms are available in the Children's Room and in the Teen Nook at the East Lyme Public Library. The contest is open to readers ages 10 through 18. Winners will be notified on Monday, November 2.

Happy Reading and Good Luck!

Teen Read Week™ is a national adolescent literacy initiative created by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA). It began in 1998 and is held annually in October. Its purpose is to encourage teens to be regular readers and library users.
